Even though he didn't start playing until he was 15, Wayne has always been a drummer at heart. He started his first band at the age of 16 and was playing in the clubs of South Florida by the age of 19. He had played in 5 different bands by the time he left Florida at 24 years of age. After a 14 year absence from the music scene, Wayne was ready to play again when he met up with Mark and then Carl. Four years and several lineup changes later "Gorilla Jones" lives!!! Waynes main influences are hard hitting drummers such as John Bonham, Joey Kramer, Bill Ward, and Scott Phillips. Waynes philosophy on playing is, "you have to hit em' hard, play from your heart, and give 110 percent every time you sit down to play or you might as well stay home."
